He rode in Australia, toured the United States with Winooka and was involved unwittingly in a huge sting on US bookmakers. He tells of Phar Lap's last race and death. Britt rode for Indian maharajahs, the Aga Khan and the British King and Queen. He rode the second-greatest number of English classic winners for an Australian and tells of jockeys, trainers and owners, ring-ins and bribe attempts.
